Baby Wheeler's Birth Story

This birth story is one for the books. This mama found me on Instagram and contacted me earlier in her pregnancy about interest in capturing her natural home birth. She had an all-black birth team and was looking to add a photographer to the crew. A few days before her due date, her doula called and said her water had broke and she was headed to the family’s home. We arrived around the same time and after about 4 hours of laboring calmly with her husband, in what she described as a virtually painless birth, this mama welcomed her first child on her bedroom floor.
